Scarlett was a lonely orphan, living in the streets when the Vampire Lord Sean saved her. Moved to pity, Sean took her home as his Thrall and lover, swearing a Blood Oath and promising to keep her safe. Their happy, loving days came to an end when the sexy, dangerous human girl Chelsea swooped in, seducing Sean away. Not only did Sean Turn Chelsea into a vampire, he let Chelsea drink from Scarlett as well. Obsessed with his new lover, Sean missed the night of their Blood Oath, leaving Scarlett to die. Humiliated and hurt, Scarlett finally chooses to live for herself, risking her life to leave Sean behind and sever their bond as Thrall and Master. As her life hangs in the balance, Vampire Prince Alder suddenly appears to save her.
